No-Prep Veneers: Lengthening Short, Discoloured Teeth
A West Road Dental case study from our Oakham practice: no-prep veneers used to lengthen short, discoloured teeth to match the patient's front two — no drilling, and no healthy tooth removed.
This patient came to us wanting her teeth lengthened so they matched her front two. The teeth either side were short and discoloured, which left a visible step along the edge of her smile.
Before
The treatment
We used no-prep veneers. No-prep means what it says: no drilling, and no healthy tooth removed to make room. That matters, because conventional veneers usually need some of the natural tooth surface reduced first — and once it is gone, it does not grow back.
The treatment was carried out in two stages.
After
The teeth are lengthened to match the front two, and the discolouration is covered by the veneer rather than bleached out.
